For the 3rd consecutive year, EPME was distinguished by REN with the award “Merit in Safety Management of Very High Voltage Lines Works”, that during the year 2011, represented 220.811 working hours. This award represents the client recognition of the fulfillment, commitment and appreciation of the safety rules, because the work is only worthy when it’s safe and healthy. From the main Overhead Lines constructed by EPME for REN in 2011, we highlight: Tavira – Puebla 400kV Overhead Line, 2nd section: P42 (inclusive) to the Spanish Border; Macedo de Cavaleiros – Valpaços 220kV (400kV), section P85 (exclusive) to Valpaços Substation and the Electrical Central Lares – Lavos 1 400kV Overhead Line, section P1 to P72 (exclusive).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Transmission Lines / Live-line Works

 

In 25/09/2012, EPME signed with O.N.E. - Office National de l’Eletricité de Marrocos the contracts for the construction of the SELOUANE-IMZOUREN 225kV Overhead Line in 2 lots, with a total length of approximately 100km. This is a milestone for EPME since, not only it is the first contract in this country for the construction of Very High Voltage Overhead Lines, but it will also be the largest Overhead Line with EPME as a single contractor.
