EPME was founded in 1984. This company integrates a set of skills in electrical engineering and services, using advanced technology.

 

Those skills make EPME able to propose a diversified offer, namely in the areas of: Lines, Live-line works, Substations, Electrical Installations, Telecommunications, Electrical Project and Renewable Energies.

 

EPME developed a structure specialized in Low, Medium, High and Very High Voltage installations (LV, MV, HV, VHV), Live-Line Works (LNW), Transformer Posts, Substations, Distribution and Use of Electrical Energy Installations and Telecommunications, especially the optical fiber’s field, Cable TV, Fixed and Mobile Communications Infrastructures and ADSL.

 

The company consolidated its position as a reference in providing technical and technological services with a large number of projects carried on from the very beginning and interventions in electrical lines installation, telecommunication devices as well as in the range of new communicative interactivity technology services and also in community services.

It currently employs human resources with specific technical and professional qualifications, being endowed with a theoretical and practical training sector and a Training Park. It set up protocols with the training centre of «Électricité de France» (EDF) to draw up advanced training actions, for example in live-line works.

 

Certified company since 1999 by the standard NP EN ISO 9001:2008 for project, construction, setting and maintenance of networks in very high, high, medium and low voltage, telecommunications and live-line works. In the year of 2002 the company got the integrated Certification with Hygiene and Safety at work by the standard OHSAS 18001:2007 / NP 4397:2008. In 2005 the company completed its Integrated Management System with the achievement of the Environmental Certification by the standard NP EN ISO 14001:2004. This integrated system of certification confirms EPME as a company that complies with requirements where the quality, safety and environment are goals achieved and continuously to be reached.

 

In 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 it received the “SMC Excellence” award and in 2001 the “Safe Work Award” given by IDICT (Labour Inspection). In 2009 and 2010, it was given by REN the Honorable Mention for “Merit in Safety Management of Very High Voltage Lines Works”, and in 2011 the Performance Award for “Merit in Safety Management of Very High Voltage Lines Works”, also delivered by REN.
