The Transmission Lines area is the historical activity of EPME, allowing it to present itself as a player in all its range of voltages (Low, Medium, High and Very High Voltage), since the construction, the remodelling and the maintenance of Overhead and Underground Lines till Live-Line Works.

 

The company disposes of total capacity to execute “ready to deliver” projects, carrying out this type of work in accordance with clients requests.

 

Works nature requires a continuous and competent training and an involved human resources specialization, in order to comply rigorously with the requirements established in each project.

 

Overhead Lines

This is one of the sectors which are in continuous evolution, possessing human resources, technologies and equipments to the building and the maintenance of lines up to 500 kV (Very High Voltage).

Cars and equipments parking, including public works equipments, is composed of approximately two hundred machines, some of them very big, such as cranes and tipper trucks.  

 

Underground Lines

Environmental requirements and minimization of visual impacts make of this area a differentiating factor in the EPME extensive experience. 

Teams with experience and knowledge in high and very high underground lines received adequate training and are able to execute insulated cables terminations and joints.
