Quality Management

The continuous updating and monitoring of processes involved and developed by Quality Management allows EPME to respond to constant market evolution and also to the stringent clients’ requirements. These policies establish and contribute to develop trust between all stakeholders. Indeed, it ensures not only the operational results’ increase, a bigger flexibility and faster response to market opportunities, but also the motivation of our collaborators and all parts involved in the continuous improvement process of integrated management. As a result to these engagements, EPME is, since 1999, certificated in all its activity areas, in the Quality Management System based on EN ISO 9001:2008.

Among other things, the company has its own calibration laboratory, to calibrate and validate monitoring and measuring equipments (MME).

Environment Management

The future depends on us and that is why, starting from that premise, EPME has always been concerned with sustainable development, environmental protection and pollution prevention. In 2005, EPME achieved one of its main objectives being certificated in Environmental Management System, according to the standard NP EN ISO 14001:2004. More than recognizing EPME voluntary engagement for the continuous improvement of its environmental performance, that certification gives the company tools and knowledge to face next evolution stage in which its policies ensure its development, as well as the development of everyone that interacts with it.

Safety Management

EPME always promoted the improvement of working conditions through the accomplishment of labour rules in the area of safety and health at work, so, in 2002, it was simple to obtain the certification, according to the community standard OHSAS 18001:2007 / NP 4397:200. Being aware that one of the biggest risks of EPME’s activity is works at a height and live-line works, the Executive Board always invested in a policy and programs of safety prevention at work to eliminate and/or avoid employee’s professional risks.

The internal Occupational Health Service guarantees adequate workers health surveillance depending on the risks they are exposed to. In fact, the occupational physician provides occupational health examinations to verify employees’ physical and psychological aptitude to do their job.
